About the Photographer

Jarrett Lindal

Recreating and operating on the traditional territory of the K’ómoks and Lək̓ʷəŋən First Nations.

Jarrett is a Vancouver Island-based outdoor adventure and wildlife photographer who grew up in the Comox Valley. His work is a product of a lifelong passion for the natural world and many days spent in the remote corners of British Columbia. As a young teenager, he brought his old camera on every adventure, continuously snapping pics - often through the window of a moving pickup truck getting anything he could. Mountain biking has always been an important part of his life but following a bad crash In 2018 Jarrett dedicated the 6 month recovery to learning everything he could about photography, sparking a fresh desire to uniquely capture what this world has to offer. Since then he has dedicated all of his spare time behind the lens.

All prints are created in a small print shop on Vancouver Island. Each print is signed by Jarrett. In addition to what is shown, custom prints are available in other sizes and mediums, including canvas (framed or unframed), block mount, or dibond. All frames are made from reclaimed wood at the print shop, and the wood is selected to compliment the photo. Please feel free to reach out and ask about custom printing options.
